AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO.1851, THE 1984 BUDGET ORDINANCE

WHEREAS: the City Council has determined that it would be in the best interest of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas to amend the 1984 Budget;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:

Section 1: The 1984 Budget is amended as follows:

(a)                     $15,721.00 of un-appropriated sanitation funds is allocated to the Sanitation Department for part-time salary;

(b)                     $1,966.00 of un-appropriated sanitation funds is allocated to the Sanitation Department for professional services;

(c)                     $26,800.00 of un-appropriated sanitation funds is allocated to the Sanitation Department for materials and supplies.

Section 2: That an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this ordinance being necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, it shall take effects and be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
