RESOLUTION APPROVING REVISION # 4, TO THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM AND BUDGET, JONESBORO, ARKANSAS

WHEREAS, The City of Jonesboro is desirous of amending certain budget items and projects in it's 1998, 1999 and 2000 Community Development Block Grant Programs; and
WHEREAS, in order to revise our programs the City is desirous to approve changes in our projects as recommended by the Citizen Advisory Committee, and then submit those changes to the Department of Housing & Urban Development for approval; and
WHEREAS, The Citizen Advisory Committee voted to add $127,326.85 to the 1999 Mays Addition Sewer Improvements, Phase 2 line item, add $9,000.00 to the Substandard Housing Demolition Project line item and add $15, 000 to the Renovation of Parker Park Project, and it is desirous to reprogram the money from the savings of the 1998 Washington St. Drainage #2 project of $5,276.51, Mays Sewer Imp. Phase 1 of $41,674.04, Police Mobile Home Project of $865.00, Washington Drainage Imp. Phase 3 of $14,875.14, 1999 Program Administrative Budget of $49,636.06, Mays Sewer Imp. Phase 3 of $34,000.00 and from the 2000 Program Administrative Budget of $5,000.00.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS to revise the 1998, 1999 and 2000 CDBG Budgets and Projects as set out above and as set out as an attachment number 1.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the Mayor and the Community Development Grants Coordinator submit the necessary changes and documentation for approval of Revision # 4 to the Department of Housing & Urban Development, Little Rock, Arkansas Area Office.
