Body

WHEREAS, there is a need to construct two fire stations in the City of Jonesboro;

WHEREAS, bids for the two fire stations  have been taken, with the low bid of $3,889,000.00 being received from Construction Network, Inc. of Jonesboro, Arkansas And

WHEREAS, the money for the said services will be obtained from the 2008 budgeted appropriation passed by the City Council

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:

The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized, based upon the need of the improvements, to accept the bid from Construction Network, Inc and sign any and all legal contracts to begin construction.
