AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3390 ADOPTING A 2003 ANNUAL BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has determined there exists the need to provide for the addition of a Civil Engineer II position to the 2003 annual budget; and

WHEREAS, the 2003 annual budget includes funding for the position of City Engineer which will become available to provide funding for the position of Civil Engineer II upon transfer of the City Engineer to the position of Interim Public Works Director/City Engineer.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that Ordinance Number 3390 is hereby amended by the addition of the position of Civil Engineer II.

PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 2^nd DAY OF June, 2003.
