A RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE CITY OF JONESBORO EMPLOYEE HANDBOOK, SPECIFICALLY AMENDING THE CATASTROPHIC LEAVE BANK.

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro adopted Resolution No. 2005:119 establishing a Catastrophic Leave Bank for City of Jonesboro employees; and

 

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro wishes to amend this policy to provide for additional leave from the bank for employees with a minimum of 15 years service with the City and to allow for intermittent leave;

 

Section 1:  The existing Catastrophic Leave Bank is amended pursuant to the documents identified as Attachment A.  Said attachment is incorporated herein by reference.  Specifically Attachment A shall be inserted in Section II titled employee Benefits under Catastrophic Leave Bank of the City of Jonesboro.

 

Section 2:  The intent of this resolution is to amend the Catastrophic Leave Bank.  Any prior resolution of the City of Jonesboro or provisions of the Employee Handbook in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of said conflict.

 

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO THAT THE CATASTROPHIC LEAVE BANK IS AMENDED PURSUANT TO ATTACHMENT A.
