AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3166, TO CORRECT A LEGAL DESCRIPTION CONTAINED THEREIN

WHEREAS, the metes and bounds legal description contained in Ordinance No. 3166, rezoning certain property on Mead Drive, inadvertently included property which was not requested for rezoning by the owner, nor recommended for approval by the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council that technical corrections be made to insure that a proper description is given for the property intended for rezoning.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
That SECTION 1 of Ordinance No. 3166 be, and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
“Ordinance No. 954 known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, be amended as recommended by the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission by the changes in zoning classification as follows:
From Commercial C-3 to Industrial I-1 the following described property: Lot 2 of Kart World Replat in the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas.”
