AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 2005 ANNUAL BUDGET TO PROVIDE ADDITIONAL FUNDING FOR FIRE DEPARTMENT TOWER 1 MECHANISMS REPAIRS

WHEREAS, additional funding is required for the Fire Department to repair mechanisms for Tower 1
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that:
SECTION 1: The sum of $30,000 is appropriated from the Unappropriated Fund Balance of the General Fund to the following Fire Department 2006 line-item budget account:
01-102-0223-00
SECTION 2: It is hereby found and declared that an emergency exists and that this ordinance, being necessary to provide additional funding for 2005 Fire Department services, shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.
