A RESOLUTION TO CONTRACT WITH A. I. D. TEMPORARY SERVICE, INC. FOR FOUR PART TIME EMPLOYEES FOR DATA ENTRY SERVICES UTILIZING THE INSITE WEBSITE THROUGH LEGISTAR

WHEREAS, the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas desires to utilize the Insite Website, providing the public with a way to research past and current city records; and
 
WHEREAS, current city records are automatically stored in the Legistar system, while past city records must be imported using a specific format of Legistar; and
 
WHEREAS, funds in the amount of $5,324.00 are available in the Part-Time Salaries line item of the City Clerk's budget; and
 
WHEREAS, formal bidding is not required for anything under $20,000.00 in accordance with Ordinance No. 24:2007.
 
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:
 
SECTION 1:  That payment of the contract shall be divided, with $5,324.00 to be paid from Part-Time Salaries and the remainder to be appropriated through a clean up ordinance at the end of the year, for an amount not to exceed $18,000.00.
 
SECTION 2: That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with A.I.D. Temporary Service, Inc. for four part time employees for data entry services utilizing the Insite website.
