RESOLUTION TO RECOGNIZE JOHN TROUTT FOR HIS SERVICE TO THE CITY AND THE CITIZENS OF JONESBORO AS CO-PUBLISHER OF THE JONESBORO SUN

WHEREAS, John W. Troutt, longtime Sun Co-Publisher, has for the past 48 years played a major role in the growth and development of the City of Jonesboro and the Jonesboro Evening sun, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Jonesboro desires to spread the following resolution upon the minutes:
RESOLVED, that the City Council recognizes the excellent, energetic and intelligent service that Mr. Troutt rendered to the City of Jonesboro during the past 48 years.
RESOLVED FURTHER, Mr. Troutt performed an excellent service for our City and its people and the City Council and the people of Jonesboro greatly appreciate his untiring service. The City Council pays its deepest respect, esteem and admiration unto him.
FURTHER, RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution shall spread upon the official minutes and become a lasting tribute to Mr. Troutt for his devotion to duty. And that a copy of this resolution be tendered to Mrs. John W. Troutt as an expression of the Council’s sincere appreciation and gratitude for the services rendered by him.
