WHEREAS, the Public Safety Committee requested that an environmental analysis be performed on the fire department facilities located at 316 W. Washington Avenue to determine if there is a presence of asbestos and/or any indoor air quality issues inside the facilities; AND
 
WHEREAS, Environmental Enterprise Group, Inc. from Russellville, Arkansas was identified as being certified and accredited to provide the asbestos services requested and to perform a complete range of analytical services;
 
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED, that the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas authorizes the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute and accept the Contract for Environmental Services from Environmental Enterprise Group, Inc. in the amount of $2,050.00.
