The Metropolitan Area Planning Commission met on Thursday, July 23, 1970, at 7:30 P.M. in the courtroom of the City Hall.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Scott, King, Melton, Falls, and Griffin.
MEMBERS ABSENT: Lane, Jarrett, Kenward, and Spurlock.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Scott.
Items for business were as follows:
Request to build a mobile home park to be known as the Indian Plains Mobile Home Park and located on a part of the Southeast quarter of the Southeast quarter of Section 28 of Township 14 north, range 4 East. Mr. Penix and Mr. Cummings came before the commission to describe the drawing and to give general information about the park. A motion was made by Mr. Falls and seconded by Mr. King to approve the mobile home park subject to attachment of the proposed trailer ordinance and conformance to the ordinance, also changing the names of the streets.
Voting YEA: King, Melton, Falls, and Griffin.
Voting NAY: None.
Motion carried.
Meeting was adjourned at 8:35 P.M.
