1. Call to order by Mayor at 6:30 p.m.

3. Approval of minutes from July 7, 1997, as provided.

4. City Attorney:  

(A) 1^st reading - Ordinance to rezone property from Residential (R-1) to Commercial (C-4), located south of Race Street and East of Middlefield. (Cleo White & Associates)

(B) 1^st reading - Ordinance to rezone property from Residential (R-2) to Commercial (C-3), located south of Cate Street and east of Vandyne Street. (Joe Carrier)

(C) 1^st reading - Ordinance to rezone 2.41 acres from Residential (R-1) to Commercial (C-3), located on the west side of Highway 63 Bypass, north of Strawfloor Road. (Earl Brannon)

5. Resolution to regulate the collection and disposal of garbage for apartment complexes and mobile home parks within Jonesboro, by private haulers.
