AN ORDINANCE TO WAIVE COMPETITIVE BIDDING AND AUTHORIZE REPAIR WORK ON A CASE DOZER.

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro Arkansas that:
SECTION ONE: The City of Jonesboro, Arkansas need repair work completed on Case Dozer #8185 disassembled at Town & Country International, to determine extent of damage.
SECTION TWO: Repair work, parts, and labor totaling $11,966.12 to be paid for from the Sanitation Department repair parts and auto expense line item #03-100-0223-00.
SECTION THREE: The City Council in accord with terms of A.C.A Section 14-58-302 hereby waives the requirement to competitive bidding and directs the purchasing agent to authorize payment of the above described repair work, parts, and labor set forth in section 2.
SECTION FOUR: It is further found that due to the immediate need to repair this dozer and emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance being necessary for the preservation of public peace, health, and safety it shall take effect from and after its passage and approval.
