AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING THE NORTHWEST QUARTER OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF THE SOUTHWEST QUARTER OF SECTION 20, TOWNSHIP 14 NORTH, RANGE 4 EAST TO THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
It having been determined by the County Court of Craighead County, Arkansas, after due notice and according to the previsions of law, to enter an order of annexation on November 30, 1955 making ‘the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 20, Township 14 North, Range 4 East’ a part of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and it being found that said territory should be accepted into and made a part of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas;
IT IS THEREFORE ORDAINED that the above described lands are hereby accepted and made a part of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, annexed thereto, and the persons residing therein shall have and enjoy all the rights and privileges of the inhabitants within the original limits of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas.
