RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, TO AMEND A CONTRACT WITH MICHAEL BURROUGHS FOR ACCOUNTANT SERVICES FOR THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro previously entered into a contract with Michael Burroughs, an independent contractor for the purpose of providing accountant services to the Finance Department, and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Jonesboro that the City Council authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to amend this Contract.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:
1. The contract for the services of Michael Burroughs for the purpose of providing accountant services to the Finance Department for the City of Jonesboro, shall be amended to provide the sum of thirty-one ($31.00) dollars per hour. An increase of One Dollar ($1.00) per hour.
2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute any documents necessary to affectuate this amendment.
