RESOLUTION TO EXPRESS APPRECIATION TO DOUG LITTLE FOR HIS DEDICATED DEVOTION TO THE COMMUNITY

WHEREAS, Doug Little was appointed as City of Jonesboro Code Enforcement Officer on 6-1-89 and served the city in that capacity until 1-07-04, and
WHEREAS, the Jonesboro City Council recognizes the loyal and dedicated service he gave to the citizens of Jonesboro during that time. We further recognize Doug’s untiring efforts in code enforcement, ridding the community of unsightly and unsafe conditions. Many unclean, unsafe and hazardous conditions were eliminated and can in large measure be attributed to his efforts and his untiring devotion to his department and the citizens of Jonesboro, and
WHEREAS, in memory of, and out of respect for Doug Little, the Jonesboro City Council wishes to express its appreciation and admiration to the Little Family by resolving the following upon the permanent records of the city:
BE IT THEREFORE, RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that a copy of this resolution be entered upon the Official City Records as a permanent and lasting tribute to Doug Little for his dedicated devotion to the community; and that a copy of this resolution be tendered to the Little Family as an expression of the City Council’s sincere appreciation for the services rendered by him.
