RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT TO ACQUIRE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 105 NORTH DRAKE STREET FROM THE PROPERTY OWNER, LINDA HILDERBRAN

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro desires to acquire property located at 105 North Drake Street, Jonesboro, Arkansas and owned by Linda Hilderbran; and
WHEREAS, the Jonesboro Senior Planner is authorized to obtain property donation requests on behalf of the Jonesboro Land Bank Commission;
WHEREAS, the Jonesboro Land Bank held a regular meeting on December 21, 2021 and voted unanimously to recommend the acceptance of the donation of the property located at 105 North Drake Street.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, THAT:
SECTION 1: The City of Jonesboro, Arkansas hereby accepts from Linda Hilderbran the donation of property located at 105 North Drake Street, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
SECTION 2: The Mayor, Harold Copenhaver, and City Clerk, April Leggett, are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate the acceptance of this donation.
