A RESOLUTION TO CREATE AND APPOINT MEMBERS TO THE VARIOUS MAYOR’S TASK FORCE AD HOC COMMITTEES FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEVELOPING OPTIONS FOR FINANCING , BUILDING FACILITIES, CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS, AND 150 YEAR CELEBRATION (NOTE: THIS RESOLUTION WAS AMENDED BY RES-09:042 ON MARCH 17, 2009)

WHEREAS, Mayor Harold Perrin is interested in exploring options for revenue enhancement, building facilities, capital improvements, and 150 year historical celebration; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor of Jonesboro has recommended the following individuals serve on the various ad hoc committees; and
WHEREAS, the Nominating and Rules Committee has reviewed and recommends the following appointments with a term of service for one year from the time it is created or once the task is completed.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:
SECTION I: That the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas shall appoint the following ad hoc committees:
· REVENUE ENHANCEMENT COMMITTEE
Jim Barksdale, Becky Sharp, Michael Yates, Erick Woodruff, Royce Leonard, Otis Spriggs, Terry Adams, Craig Light, Jason Wilkie, Steve Ewart, Tony Thomas, and Chair of the Finance Committee.
· CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT COMMITTEE
Gayle Vickers, Erick Woodruff, Keith Sanders, Mike Yates, Craig Light, Jim Barksdale, Amine Ulkarim, Bill Jenkins, Jason Wilkie, Leonard Jadrich, and Chair of the Public Works Committee
· BUILDING FACILITIES COMMITTEE
