A RESOLUTION TO SET A PUBLIC HEARING TO ABANDON ALL OF THAT PORTION OF LARKWOOD DRIVE BETWEEN CREEK DRIVE AND FOREST HOME ROAD AS REQUESTED BY THE PROPERTY OWNER

WHEREAS, the owner of property abutting all of the right-of-way requested to be abandoned has filed a Petition with the City Clerk of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas requesting that the following section of Larkwood Drive be vacated and abandoned:
ALL OF THAT PORTION OF LARKWOOD DRIVE BETWEEN CREEK DRIVE AND FOREST HOME ROAD AS SHOWN ON THE ATTACHED EXHIBIT "A"
WHEREAS, the Petition has been presented to the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, Ark. Code Ann. ยง 14-301-301, et seq. requires that notice of the meeting be published once a week for two consecutive weeks prior to the meeting.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that the City Clerk publish a notice once a week for two consecutive weeks advising the public of the Petition by the property owners to vacate and abandon part of Larkwood Drive described herein and this matter will be heard by the City Council on the 18th day of March, 2014, at 5:25 p.m. at the Municipal Center, 300 South Church Street, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
