AN ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 3006 (FOREST HILLS ROAD R-1 TO C-3 REZONING)

WHEREAS, application was made in 1997 to the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission seeking to have certain property in the 4100 block of Forest Hill Road platted , and rezoned from a residential to a commercial classification; and

WHEREAS, it has subsequently been determined that the applicant did not, in fact, have sufficient standing to formally make such requests; and

WHEREAS, said Commission, at it April 13, 1999 meeting, rescinded actions taken at it September 9, 1997 meeting regarding the subject property, and recommends repeal of Ordinance No. 3006, which rezoned the property.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:

That Ordinance No. 3006, rezoning certain property in the 4100 block on Forest Hill Road from R-l residential to C-3 commercial be and the same is hereby repealed.
