A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS ACCEPTING BIDS FOR A STORAGE ADDITION AT PARKER COMMUNITY CENTER (NOTE: THIS CONTRACT HAD A CHANGE ORDER WITH RES-04:600 ON MAY 17, 2004)

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro owns and maintains Parker Park Community Center located at 1522 N. Church Street, Jonesboro, AR.
WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro is constructing the storage addition for needed storage of program equipment.
WHEREAS, the low bidder for the project is Robinson Electric with a bid of $71,825.00.
WHEREAS, One hundred percent of the funds for the project will come from the 2003 Community Development Block Grant Budget, fund line item 831-37, previously approved by the City Council and the Department of Housing & Urban Development.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: That the City of Jonesboro accepts the low bid of $71,825.00 from Robinson Electric for a storage addition at Parker Park Community Center.
SECTION 3: The Mayor, Hubert Brodell and City Clerk, Donna Jackson are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.
