WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro entered into a contract with L. Chalmers Clark, whereby said L. Chalmers Clark was to purchase and remove said houses located on the Ritter property on West Washington and Monroe; said houses to be removed by October 1, 1954, and

NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council that said contract, dated______ be and the same is hereby canceled, set aside and declared null and void.

PASSED and ADOPTED this 18^th day of October, 1954.
