RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, REGARDING THE AMENDMENT OF CHAPTER 14 AND CHAPTER 15 OF THE JONESBORO CODE OF ORDINANCE KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE MODIFYING RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL ZONING DISTRICTS AND SUBDIVISION REGULATIONS

WHEREAS, it is the desire for the City of Jonesboro to amend its Code of Ordinances specifically Title 14 & 15 known as the Zoning Ordinance to amend the provisions dealing with Residential and Commercial Zoning and Subdivision Regulations as recommended by the Metropolitan Area Planning Commission; and,

 

WHEREAS, there is a need to adopt the ordinance by reference pursuant to ACA 14-55-207, and to provide public notice of the City’s intent, advising the public that three (3) copies are on file and available for public review in the Office of the City Clerk; and

 

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY

OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:

 

1.                     Three (3) copies of the proposed ordinance regarding the amendment of Chapter 14 and Chapter 15 of the Jonesboro Code of Ordinance known as the Zoning Ordinance modifying residential, commercial, and subdivision regulations  are now on file and available for public review in the Office of the City Clerk. That the City Council will review the proposed ordinance at its next regularly scheduled meeting on February 6, 2007.

 

PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 16th DAY OF JANUARY, 2007.
