AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NUMBER-08:035 (AN ORDINANCE TO ADOPT THE CITY OF JONESBORO FIRE DEPARTMENT EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING INCENTIVE PLAN)

Body

Whereas; the intent of the Original Ordinance was to provide an Educational/Training Incentive Plan for the uniformed employees of the Jonesboro Fire Department; and

Whereas; the Jonesboro Fire Department secretaries are non- uniformed employees

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:

All non-uniformed employees of the Jonesboro Fire Department will be removed from participation in the Jonesboro Fire Department Educational/training Incentive Plan and will not receive incentive increases or longevity pay.  Non-uniformed employees include the Jonesboro Fire Department secretaries.
