A RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT BID NUMBER 2008:14 AND APPROVE THE RENOVATION OF THE JETS DISPATCH BUILDING.

WHEREAS, the company selected to renovate the dispatch building in the JETS department is Stone Bridge Construction LLC.

WHEREAS, this award has been made to the apparent low bidder, Stone Bridge Construction LLC, presented to the Jonesboro Economical Transportation System through the City of Jonesboro’s bid procedure on June 5, 2008 with a low bid of $78,450.00.

WHEREAS, $174,000 has been allocated in the 2008 City of Jonesboro budget line item 13-100-0297-00.

WHEREAS, the Public Services Committee has reviewed and approves awarding the bid to Stone Bridge Construction LLC.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:

SECTION 1:  The City of Jonesboro accepts the Bid #2008:14 for $78,450.00 for the renovation of the JETS dispatch building by Stone Bridge Construction LLC.

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1^st day of July, 2008.
