RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENTS WITH THE ARKANSAS HIGHWAY AND TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT FOR THE INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES AT THREE LOCATIONS WITHIN THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS.

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has received three Arkansas Highway Transportation Department traffic control device agreements; and
WHEREAS, these traffic control device agreements are for the purpose of maintaining traffic control devices located at the following intersections within the city limits of the City of Jonesboro:
1. Intersection of Highway 63B and Hasbrook;
2. Intersection of Highway 18 (Highland) and Nettleton
3. Intersection of Highway 49 and Highway 351 East
WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro believes said agreements are for the use and benefit of the City of Jonesboro and all its residents; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Jonesboro that the City Council authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to execute these agreements;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO THAT:
1. These traffic control device agreements are for the purpose of maintaining traffic control devices located at the following intersections within the City of Jonesboro, to-wit:
a. Intersection of Highway 63B and Hasbrook
b. Intersection of Highway 18 (Highland) and Nettleton
c. Intersection of Highway 49 and Highway 351 East
2. That these device agreements are in the best interest of the residents of the City of Jonesboro.
3. That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute said traffic control device agreements.
