AN ORDINANCE TO VACATE AND ABANDON AN UNNAMED STREET

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that:
 
SECTION 1: The City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, hereby releases, vacates and abandons all of its rights, together with the rights of the public generally, in and to the unnamed street designated as follows:
 
Part of the Northeast corner of the Northwest Quarter of Section 32, Township 14 North, Range 4 East, Craighead County, Arkansas being more particularly described as follows:
 
Begin at the Northeast corner of the Northwest Quarter of Section 32, Township 14 North, Range 4 East, Craighead County, Arkansas; Thence West on the Section line 1547.97 feet; Thence South 1º12' 00" West 972.76 feet to the Point of Beginning proper; Thence South 89º53'00" East 111.10 feet; Thence Northeasterly along a 224.8903º curve to the left, with a radius of 25.00 feet a distance of 39.54 feet; thence South 1º12'00" West 110.00 feet; thence Northwesterly along a 233.5581ºcurve to the left, with a radius of 25.00 feet, a distance of 39.00 feet; thence North 89º53' 00" West 111.11 feet; thence North 1º12'00" East 60.00 feet to the Point of Beginning proper, containing 0.19 acres.
 
SECTION 2: A copy of the ordinance duly certified by the City Clerk shall be filed in the office of the Recorder of Craighead County, Arkansas and shall be filed in the Deed Records of such office.
 
SECTION 3: The City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas finds and declares that the above utility easement is not necessary for the general benefit and welfare of the public; that the owner of all the property abutting the above easement is in favor of the closure and vacation of the above utility easement and that therefore an emergency is declared to exist and this ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and after its passage and approval.
