A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH CGI COMMUNICATIONS, INC. FOR ENHANCEMENT OF THE CITY'S WEBSITE

WHEREAS, the Arkansas Municipal League has contracted with CGI Communications to provide Arkansas' cities and communities with a variety of multimedia promotional programs including free video streaming for enhancement of the City of Jonesboro's website, AND

WHEREAS, the CGI Communications' programs are designed to showcase, educate and inform the public about our community and will custom design a program to meet the marketing needs of our city, AND

WHEREAS, CGI Communications' products and services will be provided to the City of Jonesboro at no cost to the City of Jonesboro through the AML partnership; AND

WHEREAS, the Finance and Administration reviewed and recommended approval of the agreement on April 20, 2006

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Jonesboro, Arkansas that:

SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to enter into a Community Movie Showcase Agreement with CGI Communications, Inc. and to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.
