The Metropolitan Area Planning Commission met on July 9, 1970 at 7:30 P.M. in the courtroom of the City Hall.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Kenward, Lane, Melton, King, Falls, and Gene Martz (Building Inspector).
MEMBERS ABSENT: Scott, Jarrett, Spurlock, and Griffin.
The meeting was called to order by acting Chairman Kenward.
June 11, 1970 minutes were read by acting Secretary Melton, changes were made and minutes approved.
Items for business were as follows:
Item #1. Plat of Sunset Hills Addition. Mr. Falls made a motion that the plat be given preliminary and final approval subject to: renaming certain streets and submitting six reductions of said plat. Motion was seconded by Mr. King and passed unanimously.
Item #2. Lawrence Dacus replat of July 23, 1969 to be approved and recorded. Mr. King made a motion to deny approval because the replat does not show the location of existing buildings. Motion was seconded by Mr. Falls and passed unanimously.
Item #3. Mr. Byars, preliminary plat approved Oct 14th of 1969 to be stamped approved. Mr. King made a motion that the plat be stamped. Motion was passed unanimously.
Item #4. Final approval of Perkins 1st Addition. A motion was made by Mr. Lane and seconded by Mr. King to approve the plat subject to plat following the master plan and submitting six reductions of said plat. Motion was passed unanimously.
Meeting was adjourned at 8:48 P.M.
