A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH SSR ELLERS, INC. TO PERFORM VARIOUS PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has desires to enter into a contract for various professional engineering services for the Sewer Re-Routing Project in conjunction with drainage improvements to Centre Grove and Monroe/Chestnut/Burke in the City of Jonesboro;

WHEREAS, the firm selected to perform various professional engineering services for the Sewer Re-Routing Project is SSR Ellers, Inc.

WHEREAS, SSR Ellers, Inc. have negotiated with the City of Jonesboro a fee of $12,500.00;

WHEREAS, the funding for the execution of the contract shall come from 07-100-0152-01 and 07-100-0152-04 and compensation shall be provided upon completion of the project;

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:

Section 1: That the City of Jonesboro shall enter into a contract with SSR Ellers, Inc. in the amount of $12,500.00 to perform various professional engineering services for Sewer Re-Routing.

Section 2: The funding for the execution of the contract shall come from 07-100-0152-01 and 07-100-0152-004 and compensation shall be provided upon completion of the project.

Section 3: The Mayor, Doug Formon, and the City Clerk, Donna K. Jackson, are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.
