A RESOLUTION FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO TO AUTHORIZE A CONSENT ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER (CAO) WITH ARKANSAS DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL QUALITY (ADEQ)

Body

WHEREAS, an Agreement has been reached between the parties as to resolve the issue by the CAO proposal.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT:

Section 1: That the City of Jonesboro hereby authorized a Consent Administrative Order to be entered into with the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality regarding reporting requirements for the operating permit #2219-AOP-R1.

Section 2: That the Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute said Agreement attached hereto as Exhibit “A” on behalf of the City of Jonesboro.

Section 3: This Resolution shall take effect after its passage and approval.
