A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS ACCEPTING AN ARCHITECTURAL CONTRACT WITH MATT SILAS FOR A CONCESSION/RESTROOM FACILITY AND SIDEWALKS AT ALLEN PARK

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro owns and maintains Allen Park at 3609 Race Street, Jonesboro, AR.
WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro is proposing the construction of a facility for concession/restroom and construction of sidewalks.
WHEREAS, the Finance and Grants committee recommended the approval of the architectural contract on May 20, 2004.
WHEREAS, One hundred percent of the funds for the project will come from the 2004 Community Development Block Grant Budget, fund line item 831-44, previously approved by the City Council and the Department of Housing & Urban Development.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: That the City of Jonesboro accepts the proposed architectural contract with Matt Silas for the construction of a concession/restroom facility plus construction of sidewalks.
SECTION 2: The Mayor, Hubert Brodell and City Clerk, Donna Jackson are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.
