RESOLUTION TO REQUEST FREE ELECTRICAL SERVICE FROM CITY WATER AND LIGHT FOR A SERVICE POLE AT THE 4000 EAST HIGHLAND BLOCK

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS THAT CITY WATER AND LIGHT PLANT OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS, BE REQUESTED BY THIS RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE ELECTRICAL SERVICE TO THE FOLLOWING LOCATION:
A Service Pole located at the 4000 Block E. Highland at the intersection of Highland Drive and 63B Highway, (Hwy 18 Intersection) for the purpose of conducting a Railroad Safety Study
To permit such service to be provided without charge, the City of Jonesboro hereby affirms to City Water and Light that the ultimate use of the power so provided is now and shall remain a use or purpose which the City is engaged in as part of its governmental or proprietary functions under authority granted to it by state law.
