RESOLUTION TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH THE ARKANSAS MUNICIPAL LEAGUE FOR PREPARATION OF MUNICIPAL CODE

WHEREAS, the Finance and Administration Committee recommends the codification of Jonesboro City Ordinances by the Arkansas Municipal League; and
WHEREAS, A.C.A. 14-54-302 requires prior authorization by the City Council when entering into contracts.
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED that the City Council for the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas authorizes the Mayor and City Clerk to execute and accept the Contract for Preparation of Municipal Code by the Arkansas Municipal League to be paid from the already appropriated Administration Budget for 2003.
