A RESOLUTION TO THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS TO ACCEPT THE LOW BID AND ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH CAMERON CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC. FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE RACE STREET AND FAIR PARK BOULEVARD INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENT PROJECT;

Body

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has desires to accept the low bid and enter into a contract for the construction of the Race Street and Fair Park Boulevard Intersection Improvement Project;

WHEREAS, Cameron Construction Company, Inc. has bid $188,126.00 for the construction of the Race Street and Fair Park Boulevard Intersection Improvement Project;

WHEREAS, the funding for the execution of the contract shall come from 07-100-0239-00.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:

SECTION 1:      That the City of Jonesboro shall accept the low bid and enter into a contract with Cameron Construction Company, Inc. in the amount of $188,126.00 to construct the Race Street and Fair Park Boulevard Intersection Improvement Project

SECTION 2:      The funding for the execution of the contract shall come from 07-100-0239-00

SECTION 3:      The Mayor, Doug Formon, and the City Clerk, Donna K. Jackson, are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.
