RESOLUTION TO SET A PUBLIC HEARING TO ABANDON FAWN CIRCLE, SHELTER COVE AND ARDEN CIRCLE AS REQUESTED BY MAXIE AND JUDY STERN

WHEREAS, Maxie Stem and Judy Stem have filed a Petition with the City Clerk of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas requesting that Fawn Circle, Shelter Cove and Arden Circle be vacated; and,

WHEREAS, the Petition has been presented to the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas; and,

WHEREAS, Arkansas Statute Annotated §19-3826 requires two weeks' public notice before the above streets can be vacated;

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that the City Clerk is directed to publish a notice once a week for two consecutive weeks advising the public that Maxie Stem and Judy Stem desire to vacate the streets Faun Circle, Shelter Cove and Arden Circle and that this matter will b heard before the City Council on December 16^th, 1985 at 6:45 p.m. at City Hall, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
