RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION FOR H.W. WALKER FOR HIS DEDICATED SERVICE AS A MEMBER OF THE JONESBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT

WHEREAS, H.W. Walker dedicated eighteen years of his life to the Jonesboro Police Department and the citizens of Jonesboro; and
WHEREAS, H.W. Walker was an example for other police officers to follow in that he performed outstanding service and always went beyond the call of duty in his various positions with the Jonesboro Police Department; and
WHEREAS, H.W. Walker was the first narcotics officer for the City of Jonesboro and he has been instrumental in drug enforcement since 1969;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Jonesboro, Arkansas that the efforts and dedication of H.W. Walker in protecting the citizens of Jonesboro be remembered and appreciated.
