AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 24-20, 24-21, 24-22 AND 24-28 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
Section 1: That the following section of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Jonesboro, are hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 24-20 - R-1 Residential District - Paragraph (d) (7):
Off Street Parking: “One parking space shall be required each dwelling unit, back of building set back line. One addition parking space may be provided in building set back area. One parking space shall be required for every eight seats within a church’s main auditorium. Parking for public facilities and schools shall be adequate for employees and the public.”
Section 24-21 R-2 Residential Distract - Paragraph (d) (7):
Off Street Parking: “One parking space shall be required for each single dwelling unit, back of building set back line. One additional parking space may be provided in building set back area. Two parking spaces shall be required for each duplex and apartment units. For each two to five units and additional parking spaces shall be provided. All parking spaces shall be back of building set back line, except as stated above. One parking space shall be required for every eight seats in a church’s main auditorium. Parking public facilities and school shall be adequate for employees and the public.”
Section 24-22 R-3 Residential District - Paragraph (d) (7):
Off Street Parking: “One parking space shall be required for each single dwelling unit, back of building set back line. One additional parking space may be provided in building set back area.
