RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF JONESBORO GRANTS DEPARTMENT TO APPLY FOR A NATIONAL GIVING PROGRAM GRANT FROM THE WALMART FOUNDATION.
Body
Whereas, the National Giving Program is a $250,000 grant that will be utilized to support the Miracle League Project at Southside Ball Park; and
Whereas, the grant requires no match from the City;
Therefore, Be it resolved by City Council of the City of Jonesboro that:
Section1: The City of Jonesboro Grants Department will apply for the National Giving Program Grant for $250,000; and
Section 2: If the City of Jonesboro is awarded said grant, the Grants Department will return to Council for approval of said grant agreement.
