RESOLUTION SETTING AN HEARING TO VACATE AND ABANDON AN ALLEY BETWEEN OLIVE AND CULBERHOUSE

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:

That the 21^st day of August, 1967, is hereby given as the day for the hearing upon the petition of the abutting property owners for the abandonment and vacating of the following described alley in the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:

An alley 10 feet in width running East and West between Culberhouse Street and Olive Street in Block E of Nisbett’s Addition to the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Platted and filed for record in the Recorder’s office at Jonesboro, Arkansas, in Surveyor’s Record 18 at page 43.

The City Clerk hereby is directed to give notice of the time and hearing of said meeting by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in some newspaper published in Craighead County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation in the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas. The notice shall state the names of the persons who signed the petition, the name of the alley, or parts thereof, to be vacated and shall advise all persons that on the 21^st day of August, 1967, the Council will hear and determine whether the above described alley shall be vacated.
