RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO TO LEASE THE BUILDING AT 1103 COBB STREET, TO WCCNEA (WOMEN'S CRISIS CENTER OF NORTHEAST ARKANSAS)

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro has been approached by WCCNEA to lease 1103 Cobb Street for a term of three (3) years, AND

WHEREAS, an agreement has been reached between the parties as to the terms and conditions, AND

WHEREAS, the Public Works Committee of the City Council recommended approval of the Lease Agreement on June 7, 2005.

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas that:

SECTION 1.  The City of Jonesboro is hereby authorized to lease the building at 1103 Cobb Street for a term of three (3) years to WCCNEA.

SECTION 2.  The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized to execute said Lease Agreement attached hereto as Exhibit "A" on behalf of the City of Jonesboro.
