A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE TO BE ENTITLED “AN ORDINANCE REGULATING TRAFFIC AND PLACING STOP SIGNS ON CERTAN STREETS AND AVENUES AND INTERSECTIONS IN THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS” AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

BE IT ORDAINED AND ENACTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Council hereby finds and declares that the condition of traffic is such as to endanger the travelling public at the intersections of the following streets and avenues and that stop signs should be placed on said streets and avenues; and the points where stop signs are to be placed are more particularly described as follows:
On the north side of Oak Avenue at a distance of twelve feet east of the east line of Olive Street;
On the south side of Oak Avenue at a distance of twelve feet west of west line of Olive Street;
On the west side of Vine Street at distance of twelve feet north of the north line of Nettleton Avenue;
On the south side of College Avenue at a distance of twelve feet west of the west line of Main Street;
On north side of Poplar Street at a distance of twelve feet east of the east line of Culberhouse Street;
On west side of Church Street at a distance of twelve feet north of north line of Jackson Avenue;
On south side of Aggie Road at a point twelve feet west of west line of Caraway Avenue;
On north side of Aggie Road at a point twelve feet east of east line of Caraway Road;
On east side of Colley Circle at a point twelve feet south of south line of Aggie Road;
On south side of Cooley Circle at a point twelve feet west of west line of Caraway Road;
On north side of Cooley Circle at a point twelve feet east of east line of Caraway Road;
On east side of Caraway Road at a point twelve feet south of south line of Arkansas Highway No. 1;
On east side of Davis Street at a point 12 feet south of south line of Arkansas Highway No. 1;
On west side of Davis Street at a point twelve feet north of north line of Aggie Road.
