A RESOLUTION TO CREATE AND APPOINT MEMBERS TO AN AD HOC MAYOR’S TASK FORCE CONVENTION CENTER COMMITTEE FOR THE PURPOSE OF DEVELOPING OPTIONS FOR FINANCING A CONVENTION CENTER

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro is interested in exploring options for the financing of a new convention center; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor of Jonesboro has appointed Mr. Wallace Fowler, Mr. Harold Perrin, Mr. Barry Ledbetter, Mr. Joe Williams, and Mr. Jennus Burton to serve on the ad hoc Mayor’s Taskforce Convention Center Committee; and

WHEREAS, the term of their service shall be for one year from the time it is created or once the task is completed.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:

SECTION I: That the City of Jonesboro shall appoint Mr. Wallace Fowler, Mr. Harold Perrin, Mr. Barry Ledbetter, Mr. Joe Williams, and Mr. Jennus Burton to serve on the ad hoc Mayor’s Taskforce Convention Center Committee.
