A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS ACCEPTING BID FOR SKATEPARK AT ALLEN PARK

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro owns and maintains Allen Park located at 3609 Race Street, Jonesboro, AR.
WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro is proposing constructing a skatepark at Allen Park.
WHEREAS, the City solicited request for proposals and the low bidder for the project is Construction Network, Inc. with a bid of $150,000.00.
WHEREAS, $75,000 or fifty percent of the funds will be received from the State Parks and Tourism 2003 grant and $75,000 or fifty percent of the funds for the project will come from the City Budget, GL 712, previously approved by the City Council and the State Parks & Tourism Department.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF JONESBORO, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1: That the City of Jonesboro accepts the low bid of $150,000.00 from Construction Network Inc. for the construction of the Skatepark at Allen Park.
SECTION 2: The Mayor, Hubert Brodell and City Clerk, Donna Jackson are hereby authorized by the City Council for the City of Jonesboro to execute all documents necessary to effectuate this agreement.
