Metropolitan Area Planning Commission Minutes, June 8, 2004
MEMBERS PRESENT: Beadles, Vance, Damron, Day, Johnson
MEMBERS ABSENT: Harpole, Gott, Moore, Krennerich
The minutes of the May 11, 2004 meeting were approved as amended on a motion by Mr. Day, second by Mr. Vance and unanimous vote.
#1 RZ04-16 Jim & Shirley Bryant requested approval of rezoning from the R-1, Single Family Medium Density District to the C-3, General Commercial District for 1.12 acres located on a part of the West Half of the SW ¼ of Section 23, T14N, R3E. The general location of the property is on the south side of Strawfloor Drive, west of Parker Road.
The property is near the landfill and just down the road from the new medical clinic on Parker Road.
No opposition was expressed by any one in attendance.
A motion to recommend approval of the request to the City Council was made by Mr. Vance and seconded by Mr. Day. Voting was 5 in favor, 0 opposed. Those voting aye were Vance, Damron, Day, Johnson, Beadles. MOTION CARRIED, REQUEST APPROVED.
