A RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE CITY OF JONESBORO PAY PLAN

WHEREAS, the City of Jonesboro adopted Resolution No. 2004:02 implementing Pay Plan B Modified following a study by Condrey & Associates; and

 

WHEREAS, the need has been identified to amend the existing Wage and Salary Management Plan; and

 

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that:

 

Section One:  The position of Chief City Engineer is moved to Grade 25 with the authorization to hire between step 11 and step 18.

 

Section Two:  The position of Assistant City Engineer is moved to Grade 24 with the authorization to hire between step 8 and step 13.

 

Section Three:  The position of Civil Engineer remains in Grade 22 with the authorization to hire between step 9 and step 16.

 

Section Four:  The position of Public Works Director is moved to Grade 23 with the authorization to hire between step 1 and step 5.

 

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of April, 2007.
