METROPOLITAN AREA PLANNING COMMISSION
APRIL 11, 1995
MEMBERS PRESENT: Coleman, Little, Damron, Beadles, Pitts and Phillips
MEMBERS ABSENT: Shaw, McCracken, Finley
Minutes of the March 16, 1995 were approved as submitted.
#1 SU95-2 Aaron Wayne Tate requested approval of placement of a mobile home on the southeast corner of Dan Avenue and Harry Drive.
Dr. Beadles moved to approve the request with the condition that the mobile home meet the ordinance requirements. Mr. Pitts seconded, 5 voted aye, 0 no, REQUEST APPROVED WITH STIPULATIONS.
#2 SU95-3 Burl Michael Slaven requested approval of placement of a mobile home on the east side of Purnell Lane, south of Dan Avenue.
Mr. Little moved to approve the request subject to the mobile home meeting the ordinance requirements. The motion was seconded by Mr. Damron. Five voted aye, 0 no, REQUEST APPROVED WITH STIPULATIONS.
#3 SP95-6 Dan Rufkahr requested approval of site plans for a new brake and muffler shop to be located on the southeast corner of Stadium Blvd. and Fairview Road.
Privacy fencing along the east property line as well as drainage and ditches were discussed.
Mr. Damron moved to approve the request subject to:
1. Buffering - 6' wooden fence along the east property line
2. Drainage - tapping into state system if allowed
3. Street improvements installed on Meador adjacent to property
4. Building placement revised to reflect BZA approvals
Mr. Pitts seconded, 5 voted aye, 0 no, REQUEST APPROVED WITH STIPULATIONS.
#4 FP95-5 Ronnie White requested final approval of subdivision plans for East Park Subdivision containing 63 lots on 17.27 acres. The property is located on the east side of Richardson Road, north of the Access Road and will be a continuation of Kristal Drive and Curtview Drive.
