AN ORDINANCE DESIGNATING THE RIGHT-OF-WAY OF A CERTAIN PART OF GRIFFIN AVENUE AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES

BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas:
Section 1: From and after passage and adoption of this Ordinance, the street right-of-way of Griffin Avenue from Nettleton Avenue West 100 feet shall be 40 feet. The City of Jonesboro, hereby releases, vacates and abandons all its rights together with the rights of the public generally in any other right-of-way other than the 40 feet right-of-way designated herein.
Section 2: All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict wherewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3: A copy of this Ordinance duly certified by the City Clerk shall be filed in the office of the recorder of the Jonesboro District of Craighead County and recorded in the deed records of said county.
Section 4: This Ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
