1. Call to order by Mayor at 6:30 p.m.

3. Approval of minutes from September 15, 1997, as provided.
4. City Attorney:
(A) 3rd reading - Ordinance to rezone nine acres from Residential (R-1) to Agricultural (AG-1) of lots 6 and 7, Block B, located on the south side of Jonathan Street and the east side of Warren. (Gehl Henderson)
(B) 3rd reading - Ordinance to rezone 2.37 acres from Residential (R-1) to Commercial (C-3), located at the Southwest corner of Matthews and Strawfloor. (Humane Society/J. Lyons)
(C) 3rd reading - Ordinance to rezone .99 acre from Residential R-1 to Commercial C-3, located at 4114 Forest Hill Road. (Jim Lackey/Hammon Newell)
(D) 1st reading - Ordinance to amend Ordinance No. 2143 and the Jonesboro Code of Ordinances, Chapter 11.36, known as “Mechanical Code”, for the purpose of removing local exception regarding installation of flexible class 0 and class 1 air-duct materials.
(E) 1st reading - Ordinance to amend Sections 11.20.10 and 11.20.11 of the Jonesboro Code of Ordinances, and Ordinances 1747, 2054, and 2206 for the purpose of adopting the 1996 National Electric Code.
5. Resolution expressing the willingness of the City of Jonesboro to participate in the Arkansas Recreational Trails Program, and to provide the required 50% matching funds.
6. Resolution to proceed with condemnation of 1.86 acres located at Commerce Drive and the 63 Bypass. (Unavailable - To be provided by Phillip Crego, City Attorney)
7. Resolution certifying endorsement of Haworth, Inc. to participate in the Arkansas Economic Development Act of 1995.
8. Review the following Millage Resolutions:

9. Resolution requesting City Water & Light to provide services at the “Welcome to Jonesboro” signs located at the following locations:
