RESOLUTION TO REQUEST FREE UTILITY SERVICE FROM CITY WATER AND LIGHT FOR TWO LIGHTS IN FAIRVIEW PARK

BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, that City water and Light Plant of the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, be requested by this resolution to provide electrical service to the following location:
*Two (2) lights in Fairview Park, one on an existing pole and one with pole adjacent to the playground equipment. Fairview Park is more particularly described to-wit:
*Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4 in Block "E" of Fairview Acres Subdivision in the City of Jonesboro, Arkansas, as shown by plat of record in Book 123, page 126 if Craighead County, Arkansas.
To permit such service to be provided without charge, the City of Jonesboro hereby affirms to City Water and Light that the ultimate use of the power so provided is now and shall remain a use or purpose which the City is engaged in as part of its governmental or proprietary functions under authority granted to it by state law.
